HOUSTON -- A front stalled out over Texas but still managed to bring cooler temps and scattered rain to the Houston area around lunchtime Tuesday.
KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner says there's a 70-percent chance for rain today, and our afternoon temps will only be in the mid- to upper-80s.
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain Tuesday with a forecast high of 94 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday the chance for scattered showers continues.
Friday the rain chance jumps back up to 60-percent as our afternoon high temps decrease into the upper-80s and low-90s.
We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds this weekend with a continuing chance for rain.
Next week our daytime temps will creep back into the mid- to upper-90s, so enjoy this week's brief relief from the heat!
