HOUSTON — After the hottest day of the year so far, expect a pleasant start to Tuesday, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.

Temperatures will start out in the mid-60s for most of the Houston area, but we could see some fog in the early morning hours.

We will top out around 82 degrees Tuesday afternoon, about 10 degrees cooler than what we experienced on Monday.

Overnight lows later this week will be in the 40s.

The upcoming weekend is looking really nice with mostly clear skies and daytime temps in the low-80s.

Early next week the temperatures will start to rise once again.
