HOUSTON –- We’re in for a nice Thursday with a light breeze not as gusty as it was yesterday.
“Today high pressure is our friend,” said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez. “Across the state of Texas we have high, fair-weathered clouds coming in, so we’re going to see a nice day today. Temperatures in the panhandle were below freezing early this morning, but in Houston we were in the mid-40s.”
We’ll top out in the upper-60s this afternoon under clear skies.
Friday a few clouds move back in with early-morning temps in the mid-40s and daytime temps around 70 degrees.
Saturday and Sunday a good chance for scattered rain moves back in with high temps in the low-70s.
Next week is looking nice and clear with rising temps into the mid-70s by Wednesday.
