HOUSTON -- A chilly start to the day Thursday will lead us into a cool and cloudy afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
“We’re still about 10 degrees lower than where we should be this time of year,” said Garner. “A southeast wind will increase the cloud coverage and the temperatures this afternoon, so it will start to feel a little like springtime for the next few days.”
We’ll top out in the mid-50s today.
Early Friday morning we’ll be in the low-50s, but in the afternoon we’ll get back into the 70s with increasing clouds and a slight chance for rain.
Saturday afternoon will also be warm and cloudy with a rain chance.
By Sunday the temperatures start to drop again as the rain chance jumps to 50 percent.
Early next week daytime temps will be in the 50s and overnight lows will be in the 30s and 40s.
The chance for rain will finally go away by the middle of next week.
