HOUSTON -- St. Patrick’s Day will start off chilly, leading us into a cool and partly cloudy afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

“We started off in the mid- to low-40s, but a breezy northwest wind is making it feel like the upper-30s,” said Johnson. “We are going to see a very nice afternoon, however.”

We’ll top out around 63 degrees this afternoon with winds between 5 and 15 mph.

For you allergy sufferers, oak and cedar tree pollen may give you the sniffles today.

The rest of this week is looking nice with only a few clouds in the sky and daytime temperatures in the mid-70s.

A slight chance for rain returns Friday and Saturday.
