HOUSTON -- We are getting into sweater weather as cooler temps move in, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.

There were very light showers across town in the early-morning Thursday and the rest of the day will be dry for the most par with afternoon temps topping out around 75 degrees.

On Friday there’s a 30-percent chance for rain with a high of 73 degrees. The rain continues Saturday with a forecast high of 72 degrees.

By early next week our daytime temperatures will start to climb back into the low-80s under mostly sunny skies.
