HOUSTON – Scattered rain showers return to the Houston area on Wednesday along with “cooler” temperatures, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
A cold front moved through the Houston area overnight Tuesday.
“This is a slow moving front that’s just going to ooze on through,” Paul said.
Temps will kick off in the upper-60s and reach a forecast high of 70 degrees on Wednesday.
“We’re going to see scattered showers in the morning,” Paul said. “It will be hit or miss all day.”
There’s a 40-percent chance for rain Wednesday.
Daytime temps remain in the mid-70s through the weekend, and a slight chance for scattered rain lasts until at least Saturday.
