HOUSTON -- It’ll remain cool and clear as the rodeo cook-off gets underway Thursday night, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.

Thursday evening temps will drop into the upper-40s.

“The clouds return as a warm front moves through the region overnight into Friday morning,” said Garner. “That could produce a shower, but there’s only a 10-percent chance for rain tomorrow.”

Friday we’ll get into the low-70s in the afternoon under partly cloudy skies.

Saturday and Sunday more clouds move in along with a chance for rain as daytime temps approach the upper-70s. Sunday is our best chance for rain -- 50 percent.

On Monday the temperatures drop once again as a slight chance for rain continues into Tuesday.

Next week is looking cool – with daytime temps in the mid-50s and overnight lows in the 30s once again by Wednesday.
