HOUSTON – You may need a light jacket when you head out the door Wednesday morning, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Expect to see unusually cool temperatures with overnight lows in the mid-50s. Some areas further north of the metro area could even see lows in the 40s with they wake up.
Temperatures will warm up to about 72 degrees around lunch time under clear skies. We will see highs in the mid-70s in afternoon, which are about 7 degrees lower than normal for this time of the year.
Early Thursday some parts of town will be in the 40s before sunrise.
The cooler temps stick around for the start of the weekend, but early next week we’ll start to get back into the low-90s.
There’s no chance for rain in the seven-day forecast, so now is a good time to wash the car!
