HOUSTON — The forecast is looking pretty good as we head into Marathon Weekend here in Houston, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.

Temps will drop down to the mid-40s Friday evening after another beautiful, clear end to the work week. The weekend will start off a little chilly with lows in the upper-30s on Saturday morning, so you may want to keep a light jacket handy when you head out the door.

Temperatures will warm up the upper-60 Saturday afternoon as clouds return to the forecast this weekend.

The Chevron Houston Marathon participants will find cool and sunny weather with temps starting out in the upper-40s Sunday morning and warming up to 71 in the afternoon.

Next week the cloud coverage increases slightly as afternoon high temperatures top out in the mid-70s Monday. Tuesday the daytime temperatures drop back into the 60s.
