HOUSTON -– It will be a nice fall day in the Houston area with a chilly morning and a pleasant afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Early Friday we started in the 40s and 50s across town, but we’ll warm up to nearly 70 degrees this afternoon.
“It is another pretty chilly start to the day today,” said Johnson. “We’ll have a nice mix of sun and clouds this afternoon.”
On Saturday the temperatures go up a few degrees, and on Sunday clouds return along with a slight chance for rain.
By next Wednesday our next cold blast of air will have moved through, bringing us overnight temperatures in the 40s and daytime temperatures only topping out in the mid-50s. Get out your jackets!
