HOUSTON – After the weekend started off with spring-like weather, expect to see some cool, wet conditions as a cold front moves through on Sunday, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

The slow-moving cold front will arrive in the late morning along with a line of showers, which will stick around for a good portion of the day with a 60-percent chance for rain.

Temperatures will start out at about 60 degrees in the morning and will not get much warmer after the front moves through. Highs are likely to peak at about 62.

Temps on Monday will be roughly 10 degrees colder with highs in the low-50s and overnight lows in the upper-30s.

Another cold front is expected to arrive sometime on Tuesday bringing cooler temps for the rest of the week.

After Tuesday, the skies will clear up leaving us with cool afternoons and cold overnight lows.
