HOUSTON – Bundle up if you plan on venturing outdoors Tuesday as the cold, wet weather is not expected to let up by much this afternoon.
KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson said that the wind chill will make temperatures feel about 2 to 3 degrees colder than they already are. At noon, temperatures hovered in the upper-30s for most of the Houston area.
Temperatures will peak at about 44 later this afternoon. There is a 50 percent chance of rain Tuesday as a steady feed of moisture to the area will help contribute to showers and a heavy mist this evening.
