HOUSTON — The weekend will continue to be cold and soggy after an overnight cold front brought showers and a drop in temperatures to the Houston area, according KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
There is a 50-percent chance of rain Sunday and a 10-degree drop in temps compared to Saturday with highs in the mid-50s. However, temps will feel like the 40s for much of the day.
Most of the rain will slide out into the Gulf waters by the late morning.
Daytime temps will drop slightly for the start of the new week, but we’ll increase to the mid-70s by Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday another front moves through, putting us in the upper-30s early Thursday morning.
Don’t forget to spring forward Saturday night/Sunday morning! Set those clocks one hour ahead for Daylight Saving Time.
