HOUSTON – After a warmer weekend, chilly weather will return this week with another cold front, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
The cold front will slowly move in overnight and should have Southeast Texas completely covered by mid-afternoon on Monday.
Expect to see temperatures in the low-50s for the Monday morning commute along with some chilly rain. There is 40 percent chance of rain for the start of the work week.
Temps will not warm up much and will peak in the mid-50s Monday afternoon.
Starting Monday night, overnight temps will stay in the 30s for most of the week before reaching the 40s on Friday.
On Tuesday morning, expect another round of heavier showers with a 60 percent chance of rain.
