HOUSTON – Breezy conditions made for a chilly start to the workweek in southeast Texas on Monday, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“There’s a slight rain chance today, especially closer to the coastline,” said Johnson. “Temperatures will stay in the 40s for much of the day.”
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain today with a forecast high of 50 degrees.
Tuesday will be a little sunnier with early-morning temperatures in the mid-30s and daytime highs in the mid-50s.
On New Year’s Day the clouds return along with a 30-percent chance for rain.
The temperatures remain pretty cool through the weekend with chilly overnight temperatures.
