HOUSTON – Bundle up Sunday evening as temperatures are expected to drop into the mid- to upper-30s as the cold weather continues overnight, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
An increase in cloud coverage from the southeast will keep temperatures from getting to freezing levels, but it will provide some light rain Monday morning.
Expect about 40 percent chance of rain in the morning making roadways slippery during the morning commute.
It will not get much warmer Monday afternoon with the high expected to peak at 46 in the afternoon.
