HOUSTON – The Houston area will hardly see any rain to start the work week, but that will all change come Tuesday, according to the KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
There is only a 20 percent chance for rain on Monday with another hot, summer day on hand. Temperatures will start out in the mid-70s before warming up to the upper-90s.
A sea breeze may kick up some light coastal showers, but nothing farther inland.
Come Tuesday, the chance for rain increases to 40 percent as a cold front parks north of the Houston area acting as a trigger for showers to develop through Thursday.
By Friday, we could see a 60 percent chance for rain heading into the weekend.
