HOUSTON – The cold conditions will continue with temperatures expected to peak at 50 degrees Wednesday afternoon, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

Temperatures for most of the Houston area were in the low-40s at noon so keep a jacket handy.

There is still moisture coming in from South Texas so there is a 20-30 percent chance of isolated showers. Some areas have reported sleet with temperatures still in the 30s for some of the northern counties in the viewing area.
