HOUSTON -- The snow and sleet have moved out of Southeast Texas, but there’s another (slight) chance for it again early Friday morning, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 10 a.m. Friday for Austin, Colorado, Grimes and Washington counties.
“Houston-Harris County is not included in this,” said Paul. “But there is a chance for sleet in the northwest side.”
We’ll drop back into the low-30s early Friday morning. Friday afternoon won’t be much warmer.
“It is just a huge chunk of bitter cold arctic air,” said Paul.
On Saturday the sun partially returns and our early-morning lows in the 30s will quickly get into the low-60s.
Sunday will also be slightly warmer as a chance for rain returns.
A good chance for rain, 60 percent, moves back into Houston on Tuesday as the temps drop back into the 40s and 50s.
