HOUSTON — While there is some tropical moisture moving through Texas this weekend, it is unlikely that will we see rainfall in the Houston area anytime soon, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
There a 10 percent chance of rain, but expect the weather to stay dry here in Houston with cloudy skies Saturday afternoon. Temperatures should peak in the upper-60s and may break into the low-70s.
Later this evening, temperatures will drop back down into the mid-50s making for another chilly evening.
On Sunday, the temperature only increases by a couple degrees, Gomez said.
By next Wednesday our next cold blast of air will have moved through, bringing us overnight temperatures in the 30s and daytime temperatures only topping out in the mid-50s. Get out your jackets!
