HOUSTON – A cold front continues to make its way across the country, but should not arrive until early Wednesday morning, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.
In the meantime, expect to see comfortable weather Tuesday morning with temperatures in the mid-60s and cloudy skies. The clouds will break up a little by the afternoon allowing temperatures to warm up to about 80 degrees.
However, they will begin to thicken again in the evening as the front gets closer to the Houston area.
The cold front should arrive at about 3 a.m. along with a line of showers. There is a 40 percent chance of rain on Wednesday with highs peaking at 63. Some of the showers will stick around on Thursday as well with a 40 percent chance of rain.
