HOUSTON -- Wednesday morning was cold, and Thursday morning will be even colder, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.

We'll top out in the upper-40s and low-50s this afternoon.

Tuesday's rain is gone, and the clear skies will allow things to get pretty chily in Southeast Texas Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Most of Houston will be in the upper-20s and low-30s on Thanksgiving morning.

Things warm up slightly this weekend with daytime temps in the mid- to upper-60s and early-morning temperatures in the 40s.

A slight chance for rain returns early next week as daytime temps hit the 70s.
