HOUSTON – After a cool start to the day, Thursday will top off in the mid-70s under sunny skies, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
We were in the upper-40s and low-50s across town early this morning.
It will be breezy with winds between 15 and 20 mph today.
“We’re going to see pretty much sunny skies throughout the day,” said Johnson. “The bad news for allergy sufferers is the pollen count will continue to climb – even into next week.”
There’s no chance for rain in the seven-day forecast, with mostly clear skies expected through the weekend.
While Thursday’s temperatures will be nice, the humidity will return in time for the weekend.
Our daytime temperatures will climb back into the mid- to upper-80s this weekend, and next week we’ll get very close to 90 degrees.
