HOUSTON — The chilly weather is going to stick around for a while as the cold and rainy conditions continue Sunday, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Overnight lows will drop down to the low-40s and will not warm up much on Sunday with highs in the mid-40s.
There is a 50 percent chance for rainfall Sunday with some light rain moving through the area from the west. The chance for rain increases to 80 percent on Monday as another front moves in.
Communities north and northwest will see a wintry mix for the next few days, but the closest it should get to the Greater Houston area will be Tomball.
The skies should start to clear up in time for Thanksgiving, but the temperatures will remain chilly next week.
