HOUSTON – After a rainy start to the weekend, expect to see some very chilly conditions overnight Sunday, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Overnight, temps will drop down into the low- to mid-40s for the coldest night of the fall so far.
Sunday is looking clear and dry again with a high of 77.
Early Saturday, parts of the Houston area received up to ¾ of an inch of rainfall as a cold front put the squeeze on a disturbance along the coast.
Showers are likely to return Monday with a 40 percent chance of rain. After Monday, our daytime temperatures will range from the mid-to upper-70s under mostly sunny skies.
