HOUSTON -- Many parts of Southeast Texas were near the freezing mark early Wednesday, but KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner says much warmer temperatures are on the way.
We’ll top out around 51 degrees this afternoon.
“The clouds we’ve had over the last few days will be clearing, leaving us with sunshine for Wednesday afternoon,” said Garner. “It will be like night and day when you compare yesterday’s weather to today’s weather – especially after lunchtime.”
Thursday morning we’ll be back in the 30s, but in the afternoon we’ll reach the low-60s as the sunshine continues.
On Friday, daytime temps return to the 70s return for the foreseeable future along with plenty of sunny skies. Overnight lows through the weekend will be around 50 degrees.
