HOUSTON -– It may be mid-April, but temperatures were in the upper-40s across town overnight into Wednesday morning.
“I am tracking near record low temperatures this morning, that’s how chilly we are,” said Meteorologist Chita Johnson. “The winds are calm today, however, so that will be the big change.”
We’ll top out around 71 degrees this afternoon under mostly sunny skies.
Thursday a few clouds return as temperatures creep back into the mid-70s.
By Friday the humidity will have returned with early-morning temps in the 60s and daytime highs near 80.
This weekend a slight chance for scattered rain returns along with warm daytime temps and muggy overnight conditions.
On Monday there’s a 40-percent chance for rain.
