HOUSTON – A cold front will enter the Houston area Wednesday morning, but we will see a nice warm up in the afternoon over the next few days, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

Wednesday will begin with lows in the mid-50s and the highs will reach the mid-70s.

“We’ll warm up pretty quickly Wednesday afternoon,” said Paul.

The rest of this week is looking sunny and clear with daytime temps in the low-to-mid-70s and overnight temps in the low-to mid-50s. “Spring does begin on Thursday around noon,” said Paul.

A good chance for scattered rain returns this weekend through Monday along with a slight drop in the temperatures.
