HOUSTON – The Houston area will experience chilly temperatures in the morning, but things will warm up in the afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

Tuesday morning temps will kick off in the mid-40s and will warm up to the high-70s by 5 p.m.

“It is going to be gorgeous,” said Paul. “Tuesday will be the warmest day we’ll have for the next seven days.”

For you allergy sufferers, pine oak, cedar tree, and cottonwood pollen may give you the sniffles today. Check out Paul’s Facebook page for more allergy information.

The rest of this week is looking nice with only a few clouds in the sky and daytime temperatures in the mid-70s.

A slight chance for rain returns Friday and Saturday. Sunday a 50-percent chance for rain kicks in.
