HOUSTON – Thursday morning in the Houston area will be chilly, but temps will warm up in the afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

Thursday will also be cloudy with morning temps in the low-40s and daytime temps in the low-60s.

“I think that the sun will finally break out in downtown around 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon,” said Paul.

There’s a little more sunshine on Friday before a slight chance for rain returns Saturday.

“Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead an hour when you go to bed Saturday night as we spring forward,” said Paul.

Early Sunday there’s a 40-percent chance for rain.

Next week will be partly cloudy with daytime temps in the 60s and overnight lows in the 50s.
