HOUSTON – Thursday morning was chilly in the Houston area, but we have warmer temperatures on the way, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
We were in the 30s across town in the early morning hours today, and we’ll only top out around 63 degrees this afternoon under partly cloudy skies.
“Things will be warming up a lot," Garner said.
Friday we’ll start off in the 50s, and we’ll be back in the 70s for our daytime highs through the weekend. On Sunday, we could hit 80 degrees.
There’s a chance for rain through the weekend and for the start of your workweek.
Our next cool front will move through town Monday into Tuesday, leaving us with clear skies and chilly temperatures.
