HOUSTON – You may need a green sweater or jacket before heading out the door Monday morning with chilly temperatures expected for St. Patrick’s Day, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

Temperatures will start of in the 30s Monday morning and will barely reach 60 in the afternoon. At least we will have dry weather for the start of the work week as the cold front help clear out the weekend’s showers.

Temps will warm up by Tuesday with highs reaching the 70s again.

We could see some isolated showers by the end of the week. Have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
