HOUSTON – Friday will be warm and muggy compared to earlier this week, and there’s an increasing chance for scattered rain.
Low-level clouds and moisture will slowly develop this afternoon setting us up for some showers during rush hour traffic.
Temperatures will top out around 87 degrees with a 20-percent chance for rain.
Saturday will also be warm and muggy with a 50-percent chance for rain.
The scattered, isolated showers and warm temps continue heading into next week.
Our next break from the heat comes later next week heading into the weekend. Daytime temps should drop back into the mid-70s with mostly clear skies by Thursday.
