HOUSTON— The weekend is off to a cool start with a breezy Saturday afternoon ahead and chilly overnight temperatures, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Highs will peak in the mid-70s for the metro area with overnight lows dropping down to the mid-40s late Saturday.
On Sunday, highs will barely break into the 70s after the chilly overnight temps.
The humidity and the daytime heat return early next week with a chance for rain starting Monday. Temps next week will be in the upper-70s and low-80s.
It’s fall, so it’s time to “fall back!” Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night. While you’ll enjoy the extra hour on Sunday, be prepared to lose some daylight as the sun will set shortly before 6 p.m. starting next week.
