HOUSTON -- Friday brought pleasant weather to southeast Texas through the weekend.
"Our afternoon hours are going to calm with sunshine filled skies," said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
Friday morning's temps were in the upper-50s across much of the area. This afternoon we'll top out around 80 degrees.
Saturday and Sunday our daytime temperatures will be in the low- to mid-70s, and cool overnight temps in the upper-40s and low-50s will continue for the next several days.
The humidity and the daytime heat return early next week with a chance for rain starting Monday. Temps next week will be in the upper-70s and low-80s.
It's fall, so it's time to "fall back!" Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night. While you'll enjoy the extra hour on Sunday, be prepared to lose some daylight as the sun will set shortly before 6 p.m. starting next week.
