HOUSTON -- Wednesday brings us another steamy day with a 10-percent chance for isolated scattered showers around 7 p.m., said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
High temps are expected to top off in the mid-90s, but it will feel more like 100 degrees outside.
There is also a 20-percent chance that we will see a few stray showers later this afternoon. On Thursday the rain chance drops to 10-percent with a high temp of 97 degrees.
By the weekend our chance for rain goes away but no relief from the afternoon heat.
“This weekend it will be dangerous heat,” Garner said.
Looking ahead to next week the skies stay sunny with no relief from the afternoon heat.
