HOUSTON -– Wednesday brings us another hot and muggy day with a chance for isolated scattered showers across southeast Texas, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“We’ll continue to have a few scattered showers here and there this afternoon, but I think our rain chances will continue to drop in the coming days,” said Johnson. “We’ll continue to see a mix of sun and clouds. The best chance for showers is between noon and 5 p.m.”
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain on Wednesday with a forecast high of 95 degrees.
On Thursday the rain chance drops to 10-percent with a high temp of 97 degrees.
By the weekend our chance for rain goes away and our afternoon highs will reach nearly 100 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Looking ahead to next week the skies stay sunny with no relief from the afternoon heat.
