HOUSTON—Black Friday shoppers may need to bundle up.
11 News Meteorologist David Paul said the Houston area will have lows in the 40s and a high around 67 degrees on the busiest shopping day of the year.
The skies should stay clear and cool Friday, but Saturday the clouds and warmer weather will return.
By Sunday, Paul said we’ll have a high in the upper-70s and a 40-percent chance for showers as a front blows into the area.
The rain should stick around for a few days, but the warmer weather won’t.
"A system out west is going to bring a front in here and some winter-like weather. No ice, but cold and wet for next week. So put a coat on your shopping list today," Paul said.
Paul said high temps will only reach the mid-40s to low-50s Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
