Houston Forecast: Upper-90s Thursday, scattered rain

HOUSTON -- We'll top out in the upper-90s Thursday afternoon in the Houston area, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
There's a 40-percent chance for rain and storms today that could last into the early evening hours.
Friday will be a little hotter with a 20-percent chance for rain.
This weekend will be sunny as we top out around 100 degrees.
Early next week will be exceptionally hot too, with very little chance for rain.
By Tuesday and Wednesday the temps finally go back down a little bit as a 30-percent chance for rain moves in.
