HOUSTON — The Houston area is expected to see another round of showers Tuesday with the heaviest rains coming in the afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
There is a 20 percent chance of rain for Tuesday morning, but in will increase to 50 percent in the afternoon with the possibility of some minor street flooding.
Temperatures will start out in the upper-70s again before peaking at 90 on Tuesday.
There’s a significant chance for isolated storms and showers the rest of this week until the rain chance drops to 30-percent on Friday.
A mix of sun and clouds lingers this weekend along with a slight rain chance.
Daytime temps this week will be in the upper-80s and low-90s. Overnight temps will be muggy and in the mid-70s.
