HOUSTON -- It’ll be cold and breezy in the Houston area on Wednesday, and some northern communities are expected to get a light freeze again tonight, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
Wednesday afternoon we topped out around 55 degrees.
The clouds are clearing out, which means even colder temperatures are expected overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning.
"It will be coldest tonight in northwest Harris County," Garner said.
While Thursday morning will be a few degrees colder than Wednesday morning, it'll quickly start to warm up once the sun comes out, Garner said. By Friday our daytime temperatures will be back in the 70s, and our overnight lows will be in the 50s and 60s.
A chance for rain returns this weekend into the start of the workweek.
