HOUSTON -- The humidity returns to the Houston area on Friday with a small chance for rain in the afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
We'll top out around 92 degrees Friday with a 20-percent chance for rain.
The higher humidity will stay through the weekend as our rain chance increases.
"Today along our coast we could see a few spotty showers," said Johnson. "Saturday you have about a 20- to 30-percent chance of a stray shower. It's Sunday we have a front moving in and we have about a 40-percent chance for rain -- mainly in the afternoon."
Monday will have a mix of sun and clouds with a daytime high of 89 degrees.
By Tuesday the clouds should clear out, but the daytime highs will remain in the low-90s.
