HOUSTON – There’s a small disturbance in North Texas that could send isolated showers into the Houston area Tuesday afternoon, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

There’s a 20-percent chance of rain along with increasing cloud coverage.

“What is back today is the ragweed, so you might want to take something for your allergies today,” said Johnson.

Early morning temperatures were in the low- to mid-60s. Tuesday's afternoon forecast high is 83 degrees.

Temperatures the rest of the week will jump slightly into the mid-to upper-80s until our next cool front moves through on Saturday.
