HOUSTON – Temperatures in the Houston are expected to be slightly higher on Monday than they were on Sunday as part of a trend we’ll see over the next few days, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
The good news is Monday’s forecast high is only 89 degrees.
“Overall we have a nice mix of 80s and 90s under mostly sunny skies with that low humidity, so it’s still a nice Monday,” said Johnson. “In the 7-day forecast we stay in the upper-80s and low-90s, but starting Wednesday we start to see a chance for rain.”
A 30-percent chance for rain Wednesday jumps to 40-percent on Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures will remain in the normal range, but the rain chance continues into the weekend.
