HOUSTON –On Wednesday we will see steamy heat and very little chances for an isolated shower, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.
"I don't think we'll see any rain today, so I only have a 10-percent chance in today's forecast," said Paul.
The morning began in the upper-70s, but we'll climb to an afternoon high of 96 degrees.
The seven-day forecast shows gradually increasing chances for rain. On Friday and Saturday there's a 40-percent chance of rain, and then on Sunday there’s a 30-percent chance.
Temps over the weekend will be in the mid- to low-90s.
Meanwhile in the tropics, what’s left of T.D. 7 is now heading into Honduras and the Yucatan Peninsula.
Another area of disturbed weather in the open Atlantic has a 50-percent chance of developing, according to the National Hurricane Center.
