HOUSTON – Get ready because Tuesday will be another hot day in a continuous stretch of hot and rain-free weather.
“We won’t see a lot of change until we get closer to Friday, when we’ll see a small chance for some showers,” said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson. “Today, keep the sunscreen on and keep the air conditioning up.”
The forecast high Tuesday and Wednesday is 96 degrees, but our northern counties could see temps closer to 100.
On Saturday, the high will drop to 95 degrees as a 20-percent chance of rain moves into the area through the weekend.
The seven-day forecast shows the "heat beat" just goes on through the end of the week.
