Raw: Family escapes Fourth Ward fire, home is destroyed

A Fourth Ward home west of downtown caught fire early Thursday. No serious injuries were reported, but a grandmother suffered minor burns to her hands. The fire also spread to a neighboring home, which was being used as an apartment building.
