HOUSTON — There may be some patchy fog in the Houston area overnight into the morning, but Valentine’s Day will be warm and sunny as the nice weather continues into the weekend, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

“By 7 a.m. you may be dodging some fog driving into work or school,” said Paul. “It should burn off by midmorning.”

Friday’s weather will be slightly warmer – in the high-40s in the morning and in the low-70s in the afternoon. Temps will dip back into the 60s by dinner time.

“You may need a light jacket if you’re headed out to dinner tomorrow evening,” said Paul.

This weekend is looking just as pleasant with no clouds in the forecast until Monday or Tuesday. Sunday will be warm – in the mid-70s.

There’s a 20-percent chance for rain Tuesday and Wednesday.
