HOUSTON – Houston Fire Department crews responded to reports of smoke in the cockpit of a United Airlines plane Monday at Bush Intercontinental Airport.

It happened at about 4:30 p.m. as United flight 4222 was inbound to Houston from Milwaukee.

The plane landed safely and all passengers went into the airport terminal. No one was injured.

The fire crews were actively investigating a light haze in the aircraft which didn’t appear to be smoke. There was no word on the source of the haze.
